STATIC & BASS http://www.facebook.com/staticandbass

Over the last few years trance music has undergone a lot of changes in style leading to a blurring of the lines that formerly separated it from other dance music genres. This has led to a lot of arguing and debate regarding which artists are "real trance" and which aren't. Consequently, the fans are divided into tribes along these new supposed genre lines: there are 140 bpm fans, tech trance fans, electro trance fans, progressive trance fans, etc.

The idea behind Trance United is to create a lineup of artists, each with a different style but all of whose styles are related to or inspired by or have elements of trance in them and put them all in one venue for one night thereby uniting all the different tribes of trance fans. Hence the name: Trance United. Some of the artists may be considered trance by some fans while others may not. But we'll be bringing all those people together, under one roof, united for the love of the music.

HEATBEAT

Argentinean duo Heatbeat have smashed into the global EDM scene over the past 5 years with their cutting edge, futuristic sound, fusing multiple genres together to create a new trance based sound for the future!

Signed to legendary Armada Recordings, their productions such as ‘Extra Bacon’ ‘Rocker Monster’ and ‘Roses Never Cry’ have been topping download charts and playlists worldwide, picking up plays from a diverse range of DJs from Armin Van Buuren & Paul van Dyk to Porter Robinson, Gareth Emery & Tiesto and have been asked to remix and collaborate with the biggest headliners including Armin Van Buuren & Richard Durand.

Their DJ sets incorporate this musical diversity with unique mash-ups and bootlegs forged in the Heatbeat studios to keep the dancefloor packed with the duo entertaining whilst educating!

With their touring schedule going into overdrive, this duo have gone global, performing in Australia, Canada, Europe, Russia and Asia for the world’s biggest brands including A State Of Trance, Godskitchen & The Gallery, but it’s in South America where Heatbeat are the biggest EDM stars, touring regularly and hosting their very own sellout event ‘Heatbeat Night’ in their native Argentina.

This huge popularity resulted in their debut entry into DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs at No.81 in 2012 increasing their worldwide demand even further. Expect a lot more to come from this duo in 2013 with their debut artist album planned as well as key collaborations with the world’s biggest EDM heroes proving Heatbeat are the sound of the future!

ARCTIC MOON

Arctic Moon is one of the most exciting producers in today’s current trance scene. Recently voted in at #160 in the 2012 DJ Mag Poll he is not only a highly talented, respected and loved producer but an entertaining and exciting DJ set to take the next decade by storm.

Hailing from Poland his musical journey began during his childhood when he became fascinated by electronic dance music at an early age. He spent 3 years learning step by step how to produce music and also spent this time experimenting with different sounds until he found the one he was passionate about. In 2007 he decided that Trance was indeed his one true music love and it was then he focused on creating euphoric and uplifting Trance music encompassing elements of classical music, new age, chill out and even rock music.

As the years progressed so has the quality of his music and indeed his international profile. His name is now synonymous with labels such as the massive “Armada Music” and indeed Aly & Fila’s world famous “Future Sound of Egypt Recordings”. It was on FSOE that recent singles “True Romance” and “Adelaide” and “Starships Over Alice” were released with all tracks topping download charts, gaining a massive amount of radio plays and huge gig support from a high number of top DJs.

The success of his productions lead to him receiving a lot of requests from some of the Worlds top Djs for remixes. Already in his short but successful career he has remixed for 4 Time #1 Dj, Armin Van Buuren remixing his track “Coming Home” for the recent Remix version of his last artist album. Added to Armin Van Buuren he also has remixed Aly & Fila’s massive vocal track “It Will Be OK”, Dash Berlin’s massive single “Till the Sky Falls Down” and “Vast Vision – Ambrosia” while other remix work has featured on labels such as Subculture, Blue Soho, Arisa Audio and more.

As already touched on his work is heavily supported by an always growing and endless list of the Trance DJ Elite inc. names such as Aly & Fila, Bryan Kearney, Roger Shah, Dash Berlin, Paul Oakenfold and Armin Van Buuren and it was this support coupled with a very busy tour diary in 2012 saw his global reputation rise and there is nothing to suggest it will stop in 2013.

2012 seen Arctic Moon travel back and forth across the world playing in countries such as USA, Argentina, Mexico, UK, Ireland, Holland, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Thailand, Czech Republic and many more. With his 2013 diary almost exploding containing numerous festival appearances and club gigs in already visited countries as well as debuts in Australia, India, Canada and more, Arctic Moon is definitely on his way to being one of the biggest artists of current times.

MIKKAS

Making his first splash on the EDM scene in 2011 with his official remix of Porter Robinson’s track 'Unison', Mikkas gave a shout-out to EDM-lovers that he had arrived. Following up with the single 'Syndrome' on Big Fish Recordings and later in 2012 with the blasting remix of Fabio Lendrum's 'Out The Water' on Big Beat, he showed that he is an artist to watch [out for] in the future.

He did not let anyone down with the newly released remix of Emma Hewitt's 'Rewind', and boy did this remix get the support it truly deserved. The track went straight to No. 1 on the Beatport trance chart and at the same time it reached No. 13 on Beatport's overall chart. It was instantly picked up and supported by artists such as Porter Robinson, Knife Party, Madeon, Dirtyloud, W&W, Bobina, and Armin Van Buuren to name a few. The track showed to be the best selling track from Armada in 2012 on beatport and after 5 weeks the track was still no. 1 on the trance chart.

Mikkas followed up the success of the rewind remix, with the blasting single “Finally” with vocals from EDM voice of the moment Amba Shepherd. Finally went straight to #4 on Beatports electrohouse chart and hit #22 place on the overall chart, being supported by huge names like Tiësto, Zedd, Porter Robinson, Nicky Romero, Ferry Corsten, Dash Berlin, W&W, Knife Party and Madeon.

Mikkas has developed a sound that unites electro, trance and progressive house, appealing to a wide range of artists and EDM fans.

MARK SHERRY

Mark Sherry has been working in the studio and touring the globe relentlessly over the past year. He has played main stage sets at events such as the premium trance club ‘Circus Afterhours’ in Montreal with John Digweed, the ‘Envy’ boat party in Toronto with Shogun, the huge ‘Mandarine’ club in Buenos Aires with Richard Durand, Trance Nation’ and ‘Gatecrasher Global’ both in Holland with Paul Oakenfold, Marco V, Andy Moor, Sean Tyas, Marcel Woods & more plus recently on his own home turf at the mighty ‘Coloursfest’ event in Glasgow alongside the likes of Paul van Dyk, Hardwell, Mark Knight, Markus Schulz, John O’Callaghan, John Askew, Indecent Noise, Bryan Kearney and loads more! Also, this year Los Angeles, New York and Mexico will also be conquered very soon by the tech-trance maestro!

He has released his trance/tech-trance productions and remixes on an impressive array of labels such as Reset (Spinnin), Doorn, Captivating Sounds (Armada), Anjunabeats & Lange to hand pick a few. His finely tuned production skills have been constantly impressing the ‘who’s-who’ of the EDM scene, especially Lange after Mark’s remix of his classic ‘Songless’ single went to number 1 on Beatport! Not forgetting his recent uber-slick remix of the classic Mory Kante ‘Yeke Yeke’ plus bootleg remixes of Coldplay ‘Paradise’ and Chase & Status feat Liam Bailey ‘Blind Faith’. There are a whole host of new releases and projects under way in Mark’s newly built recording studio, including his new single ‘My Love’ forthcoming on Simon Patterson’s ‘Night Vision’ label, a remix of Above & Beyond’s modern day classical piece ‘Sun In Your Eyes’ and also a remix of Fabio XB & Linnea Schossow’s new single ‘Be My All’, which is forthcoming on Enhanced Recordings.

The Outburst Radioshow/podcast hase a huge global fan base and it continues to stay true to it’s trance and tech-trance beginnings. This weekly 2 hour show and iTunes podcast has recently boasted huge guest DJ mixes from some of the scene’s biggest names such as Ferry Corsten, Gareth Emery, Judge Jules, Fergie, Arty, Lange, Rank 1, Andy Moor, Michael Woods, Sean Tyas & Orjan Nilsen, and coming up later in the year the legendary Paul Oakenfold and John ‘00’ Fleming will also be making very special guest appearances among others!

The Scottish ‘Vestax DJ20’ is a brand new DJ poll that was launched last year to help promote and increase awareness of Scotland’s very own home-grown talent. Scotland’s DJ’s have been pioneering Electronic Dance Music since the very beginning but all too often they havn’t received the recognition they truly deserve, until now that is. The people spoke in their droves and voted for Mark, putting him in a very well deserved 2nd place in the poll!

NIFRA

Nifra is one of few rare talents that come from the new leading generation of trance & progressive producers in central Europe. Having her roots in the progressive scene, Nifra started her career with warm up's on the biggest shows in Slovakia & Czech Republic for acts like Tiesto and many, many more. It was in 2008 when Nifra took her step from being a progressive DJ into the scene of the nu-trance generation with her first signing on Armada Music. Nifra recalls;

"Having my first release on Armada was a huge step for me, not only sound wise but of course gig wise, we started to get bookings from all around Europe".

With a gig list that already included countries like Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Ukraine & Sweden, it wasn’t long before many more further afield like India and Malaysia got to see her talents first hand. It also wasn't long until international world-renowned producers like Leon Bolier, Breakfast & Ashley Wallbrigde got her on remix duties to add her creative take on their music. Despite being at a young age and in a scene dominated by male artists, Nifra has succeeded with something very few female DJs have and it is down to the focus and quality of her music.

"I feel ashamed when I see any topless Dj creating a bad image for us hard working female EDM musician's" ,Nifra says.

With her track's being sure players in the DJ wallets of Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Gareth Emery, Sander Van Doorn, Andy Moor and Marcus Schossow just to mention a few, she finally found her sound in the nu-trance scene and is now finally starting to spread it all around the globe.
Her radio show "Be Progressed" & her own productions have created an Internet following and musical fan base that goes all around the world, from Los Angeles via Cyprus and all the way to Asia and back again.

"I'm amazed how fast its all been going, a few years ago I could only dream of where I am today and I'm really grateful for all the support from my fans".
