Greenhouse - John B, the man behind West Chelsea staples Home and Guest House, went green for his third venture, Greenhouse. The spot has club-goers sitting on couches made from recyclable material all under LED lighting. Add to that toilets that flush efficiently, waterless urinals, table service that comes with fresh juices and offers 360 Vodka in eusable bottle, and you got yourself an LEED-approved nightclub experience. Of course the eco-feel continues in the décor, which features walls made of sustainable bamboo and covered in real leaves, moss, and green circles, along with glass beads hung from the ceiling to evoke, we assume, raindrops (Rainforest Café, anyone?). Given its relatively small space the club promotes some skin-to-skin action, and the music will satisfy those with a penchant for the expected mix of Top 40, house, and hip-hop.
