Rarely does a holiday land on a Friday night, but on night of July 3rd we can celebrate Independance Day altogether once the clock hits midnight!
Your night will be filled with sparks as your lovely hostesses bring out bottles of liquor and champagne or better yet the place glows itself as Gilded Lily is famously known for.
GILDED LILY comes from the idiom of “gilding the lily” that means covering something with a thin layer of gold and/or unnecessarily enhancing something already beautiful. In Gilded Lily both are true. The already handsome raw space has been embellished by a thin touch of gold. But not completely unnecessarily as it all seems to belong perfectly and echo the past of the District and the building itself. The gold-bedecked decor evokes the gilded age (all of the surfaces sparkle), and banquettes centered around a recessed dance floor offer late-night revelers a place to LIVE LIFE.
