There's nothing like a drink after work, especially if it's to catch up with an old friend. I hadn't seen Charles in a while, but had heard his movie "Take Out" was going to distribution and the first stop for this movie was New York City. This piq..
This is some funny stuff. It seem like Rain accepted Colbert's challenge for an dance-off. Not on the actual show, but after-hours. Funny thing is neither of them won this year TIME's annual online poll of world's most influential person. Nintendo video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto is this year winner.

To celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, Asia Society has joined with YouTube in a call-out initiative asking people everywhere: "What does being Asian American mean to you?"
This is some funny stuff. For those who watch Stephen Colbert on the comedy channel, you'll know about the feud for the #1 spot on the Time's online readers' poll of the most influential people of the year. Last year Rain beat out Stephen Colbert. This year, it's on again.
American Remake of My Sassy Girl Tuesday - April 01, 2008 02:56pm
My Sassy Girl became a Korean classic when it was release in 2001. This South Korean romantic comedy became a mega blockbuster throughtout Asian and also became popular among Asian Americans in he United States.
An American remake, starring Jesse Bradford and Elisha Cuthbert, and directed by Yann Samuell is scheduled to be released in 2008. You can watch the leaked trailer on youtube here.
I really had my doubts about them doing an American version of this film since a lot of the comedy in this film fits into the social scene in Korea. Adapting it to an American environment will be a totally different movie. If you haven't seen this film, I suggest you check it out. You can buy it here at amazon.

Kaba Modern Eliminated? Monday - March 24, 2008 09:08pm
For those of you following the show, I'm sure all of you were shocked that Status Quo was voted #1 and JabbaWockeeZ and Kaba Modern had to battle it out for 2nd place. In my opinion, it's total BS! First of all Status Quo is not even on the same level as Jabba and Kaba just based on their performance on that show. Even the judges called them out.
In any event, everyone knows they represented so no matter the outcome, they have established themselves as amazing dancers. I just hope on the finale, they actually let the best team remaining win. Do I really need to say who?
Here's a short clip of Kaba Modern on KTLA's morning show.
Rain and Park Jun Hyung in Speed Racer Wednesday - March 19, 2008 01:55pm
If you watch the teaser trailer for Larry and Andy Wachowski new film "Speed Racer", you're notice two Asian actors. Who are they? It's South Korean pop-star/actor Rain (Jung Ji-Hoon) and Park Jun Hyung who is one of the five members of a popular music group in Korea, G.O.D.
Althought they have small parts in the film, Rain impressed the Wachowski brothers enough to cast him as the lead character in their future film "Ninja Assassin"
For Jun Hyung, this will not be the only American film he will be in. He is also casted as bad boy Yamcha in the new Dragonball movie.
Most of us know John Cho from "Harold & Kumar Go to White". We may also remember him as the MILF guy in "American Pie" and his part in the independent film "Better Luck Tomorrow".
Now everyone will know him as Lieutenant Hikaru Sulu (formely played by George Takei) in the new Star Trek movie planned for release in 2009.
