At 15 and with no formal training, driven by pure passion and love for the art form alone, Sik saved up enough money and managed to set up a "home- studio" in his room and started recording and sharpening his craft.

There's nothing like a drink after work, especially if it's to catch up with an old friend. I hadn't seen Charles in a while, but had heard his movie "Take Out" was going to distribution and the first stop for this movie was New York City. This piqued my interest and after a few calls, we decided to meet at a bar in Union Square for a couple of drinks, and to discuss "Take Out".
I had seen this movie before, years back, but didn't know too much about it. So I decided to wait until Charles was nice and toasty from a couple of extra dirty martinis, then began prying into the life of the indie film actor.

Born Robert Choy, Big Phony is a singer/songwriter born and raised in New York City but based out in Los Angeles. His newest EP release, "Smoking Kills" is a stripped down and more focused version of his debut album "Fictions & Other Realities." Off stage Big Phony is simply known to his friends and family as "Bobby."

He is most famous for his "This Is How We Do" DVD video mix series and for his large amount of celebrity guest and host on each DVD series. Past DVD host have included Tony Yayo, N.O.R.E., Paul Wall, Jim Jones, Yung Joc and Lupe Fiasco. His DVD mixtapes have also featured NBA star Ron Artest and Wrestling Mogul Hulk Hogan.
