Jan 15.2007 10.11.am I went to BLVD for "Promiscuous Saturdays"
The crowd was very mixed, which was odd considering that BLVD is located in the heart of Chinatown.
The music was HORRIBLE. The DJ had the WORST transitions ever and barely played ANY hiphop... if he did, it was for 5-6 seconds before turning it to Sean Paul. Saturdays is definitely geared more toward the Latino crowd. The music was VERY frustrating and a reason why I'd never come here again, at least on Saturdays. People were even booing the DJ at one point. Get a clue.
Drinks were decently priced at $9. However I recommend you buy your drinks from the Main Bar as the smaller ones sell smaller drinks for the same price.
The dance floor was O.K. It got really crowded after midnight and was difficult to navigate through the club. HUGE bottleneck at the entrance to the dancefloor. It's moderately sized.
Overall, the club itself was a nice venue... but the music KILLED the night.

Aug 2.2004 11.30.pm Nobody should go to this establishment. They DISCRIMINATE against asians and lack business profesionalism. They refused asians into their club and if they did allow some people in, they gave them a hard time by overcharging them a $30 cover charge when regular admission is $20!!They were extremely rude and impolite by being disrespectful and ill-mannered. There are plenty of other great nightspots that welcome and appreciate our patronage and money!!!!!!
